Welcome Hasher!

We are the San Francisco Hash House Harriers, a drinking club with a running problem. We have been regularly terrorizing tourists and traipsing trails since 1982, and have no intention of cooling our heels anytime soon.

We meet rain or shine on Monday nights at 6:15 pm for a bit of running and beer, so lace up those old running shoes and join us! (The actual running starts between 6:30 pm and 6:45 pm.)

44th Analversary of SFH3 Trail#1

Where:	Arlington Triangle 555 Street, San Francisco

On On On:	Glen Park Station (the bar, not the BART Station). Lots of food choices on Diamond Street.
Prelube:	Glen Park Station ( still the bar)

Directions:

The start is just blocks away from the Glen Park BART Station. Lots of Muni lines connect there. Parking is free and generally available on Arlington Street. In other words, no excuses.

Comment:

Several Hashers discovered just weeks before the date, that Pussy Whipped, our founder, set the first trail for SFH3 on 8-21-1982. We hastily put together the 40th Analversary hash in San Geronimo, Marin County. This was the closest we could get to Fairfax where the first trail started. Amazingly, 74 Harriettes and Hashers made the trek. A great day was had, with trails that included Roy's Redwood Preserve (location of filming of several Star Wars scenes). The 41st, 42nd,and 43rd Analversary hashes were held here in the City. This year's event will feature Walker, Turkey and Eagle Trails with a choose your own distance option. There will be no avoiding elevation gain. There will be unpaved segments but trail shoes are optional. Cum on out and celebrate our anniversary, there may even be cake.
One additional note, next year the 21st is a Saturday. It will be a chance to do some daytime hashing, maybe even FREE BEER FOR ALL THE HASHERS.
